We organized a football tournament featuring four teams—two from the shelter and two from the Abu Al-Naja camp. The teams competed in a knockout format, with the two winners advancing to the final match. Sports jerseys were distributed equally among the participating teams, and awards were presented for Best Player and Best Goalkeeper, alongside an incentive for the referees; the winning team was awarded the trophy. Attendance at each match was estimated at 250–300 people (including 100 children).
During the match commentary, we conveyed messages regarding coexistence, social cohesion, and the importance of sports in mending the social fabric and fostering peace.
An open forum was organized, attended by over 70 participants (50 young men and 20 young women). A paper was presented on the importance of peace, peaceful coexistence, and acceptance of others. The forum also featured a theatrical performance that explored the concept of accepting others through an artistic and dramatic lens, followed by a discussion regarding both the paper and the performance.
